Shipping and handling for the first book is $5.00. $9.00 is charged for two or more, no matter how many you order. You are charged a maximum of $9.00 for any one shipment.

Individual books are shipped via US Mail book rate, usually within one week of our receiving the order. Multiple books are usually sent via UPS.

Orders for pre-publication books are entered as received and as soon as the book is ready the pre-publication orders are mailed. We try to estimate the arrival of new books as closely as possible, but often delays occur. When this happens we will post a notice on this web site, and send mail notices if the book is more than 45 days off its projected delivery date.

We handle books from numerous other publishers and some of these will be offered through this web site from time to time, as well be reprints of railroad-issued publications, especially rolling stock diagram books.

We will take your orders over this secure web site, by telephone, or fax. Please note that if you call using 434-385-1935 and if Carolyn Dixon isn't there, you may leave a call-back number and she'll call and get your order. [We aren't staffed for handling orders at all times, and this is reflected in the prices of our books which are generally far below the market for comparable books.] We're normally in the office to receive orders 9am-4pm on weekdays.
